3. Installing the Flow Meter#
The flow meter must be installed above the water surface. During installation, the instrument should be properly leveled and must not be tilted either forward or sideways. A bubble level indicator is integrated into the top cover of the device to assist with accurate leveling during installation.
The recommended installation height is at least 1 meter above the water surface. The minimum possible installation height is 20 cm, while the maximum installation height is 30 meters above the water surface. For optimal performance, the sensor should be positioned above the deepest part of the river channel, to ensure that measurements remain available even during low water levels.
